Larry has been a Club Member since 2003, now in his second Crown Colony home, and has been very active in this community since the beginning. Prior to turnover, he was elected to serve as a minority Board Director of the Crown Colony Community Association, with the developer still in control. During that time, he founded an ad-hoc turnover committee that investigated legal boundaries, infrastructure engineering, and lake status. He and the committee also interviewed management companies to prepare the community to take over responsibility from the developer. At turnover in April 2006, he was elected to the CCCA (Master Association) Board of Directors, served as President for the first 2 years, and remained as VP fo the next two. Few know this community more than Larry.
Larry became a Realtor in 2005 and became a partner/owner with John Naumann Island Realty (Lee County's Longest Realty Broker - since 1975) on Sanibel in 2010. The firm was acquired by Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Realty in 2022, and Larry agreed to maintain his license with this worldwide company. His wife, Debbie Hahn, is also licensed and part of the team. Crown Colony is their only target marketing area. They have sold 135 or more homes over the years, including 15 Crown Colony sales in 2025 alone. Click on Larry's website link to view an extensive list of their sales from only 2021 to the present.
